JAX Federal Credit Union, a $300 Million full-service financial institution with 10 branches in the Jacksonville metro-area, has used Prism Consulting for special projects for over the past five years. In the fall of 2005, the credit union was faced with making numerous information security upgrades and the departure of the department manager in early 2006. Fortunately, the credit union was able to draw upon its relationship with Prism and expand it which saved the day! Since then, JAX FCU has outsourced its network and communication systems administration to Prism and Manish Kothari manages the day-to-day operation of the credit union’s host systems.
Manish and his team work well with the credit union because of a shared commitment to member (customer) service. Prism will do whatever it takes to get the job done!
In addition to shared values, Prisms provides a level of flexibility that would be difficult for a $300 Million financial institution to achieve. With Prism’s assistance our IT department is able to meet the ever-increasing demands for higher levels of information security without increasing staff. Manish and his staff have improved the response time on Help Desk tickets and have implemented numerous innovative solutions to user problems.
It’s great to have a partner who is as concerned about your bottom-line as you are. Manish understands that while Information Services is a critical function it is a cost center and he is very prudent when recommending expenditures for hardware and software.
Currently, Manish is a member of the Information Security and Technology Steering Committees and he is playing a key role in the selection of a new communications system that will utilize VoIP and MPLS to reduce our costs and improve member (customer) satisfaction.
We will open two additional full-service branches and replace two critical servers in the 4th quarter. We couldn’t do this without Manish and his team.
